As a child, I would go to a fitness camp during school holidays (both parents wanted rid of me lol: they both worked) and I would catch all manner of fish in my hands. I was often pricked by fins etc by such fish as Flathead and Butterfly Cod and others. I was totally unaware of the dangers of some species I hand caught. Many years later while on a honeymoon holiday on the Hawkesbury River, I caught mullet in my hands to the surprise of my bride. I also placed a 'dolphin' torch in a dinghy and caught mullet when they jumped into the boat while being attracted to the light. We may be the slowest predator and we can and always have used strategy to obtain food and/or bait. Scammers could exercise their abilities in some positive ways and not affect the planet in a negative way.
