My grandfather drove a 1966 and my grandmother had a 1969 Mach 1...
in Jan.1970 I bought a 64-1/2 from a cousin leaving for Nam for $200.00, about what it was worth drove it for a year, then traded it and $200.00 for a 66 3/4 ton Ford pickup, also about what it was worth. A week before I left for Basic training in Dec 71 I sold the pickup to the same cousin who had returned from Nam, for $800.00 Probably $300.00 more than it was worth, but he still had it when I got out in 77 so he got his money's worth I guess.

When I have to paint I use KBS products
IIRC, all are named Mustang, many couldn't quite live up to that earlier identity. But still a better record than Thunderbird.
