This 1974 Ford Torino was built as a Starsky and Hutch replica, by sauser676 on GranTorinoSport.org.

With slim pickins for vehicles in good condition around Chicago, he flew up to Winnipeg and drove the car 900 miles home.

sauser676 kept the original 302 and FMX trans, although it looks like a rear gear change is due. He redid the interior and sanded the body down to bare metal. A body shop did the red paint job, and he shot the trademark white stripe himself.

This is a really cool but still reasonable build, and it's especially notable for the fact that sauser676 is not an experienced restorer, but a teenager who wanted a car that would be "the coolest one in the high school parking lot".
