The domes themselves are secondary, they are simply the resulting product of many hours of calculating engineering, not to just for the domes, but the punch & die to form them, the metallurgy to figure the exact formula to create the titanium alloy with the correct composition to withstand the perceived pressures at what thickness the associated special tooling required for handling fixturing, processing, measuring and inspecting to create the final prototype, for what would be a very limited or even a 1 off production without proper marketing
