    You wouldn't think that no more than the boom was extended that the weight of the van would have been enough o do that.
    Most high reach forklifts that size can lift 2.5 tons but that weight is greatly reduced the further away from the machine it goes But I've seen them on job sites raising at least half their rated cap all the way to full extension and reaching far out from the machine.
    this one was hardly extended at all

    Unless it was right next to an orphanage or something like that I see no reason to move it at all.

    Was this a bad guy driving the lift? As it looked to me the fork driver did more harm than good? There was all kinds of safe spots to set the van down but the driver rams a bridge as a better option?

    Problem occurred when driver decided to stop,and load inertia turned it over...
