There are several videos on Youtube demonstrating free energy devices that they made. They have a reed switch, a small li-ion battery and a light bulb hidden inside an led bulb. They have some other crap for show like the spark plugs and coils of wire. When the magnet moves near the bulb the reed switch closes and the bulb lights up. The magnet is supposedly providing the "free" energy.
