Funny spoof machinist plans - drawing

Spoof machinist drawing by Sevenbaer. Nailed it! This would make a good reply for when people pointedly request plans for your tool build. Extra-large fullsize image that would make for some nice shop decor.

    Hi Jon,

I have had a copy of this funny spoof drawing in my tool box for the last 55 years. I got it from an old Honeywell toolmaker back in the 1960’s.
    I still have it.

I love the 1/2-4 square thread 3/15 deep and the surface finish "slick as snot on a door knob"! Good one Jon...that's a keeper that I guess has been around a long time, like me but never seen it before.

In my early CAD days (~84'-85') I created a vector No Bozo icon. I used to embed it (very small scale) at certain critical features and places in a drawing, just big enough so someone had to use a magnifier. Some loved it and would send it back for some hilarious corrections...some didn't...but all laughed.

Thanks for posting this!!!!! I laughed so hard. My wife was on the phone talking to her cousin when I was reading this. She thought I was laughing at her conversation with her cousin until I showed her the post. She didn't see the humor in it. It's a guy thing!
