Attachment 3346Attachment 3347Attachment 3348Attachment 3349Attachment 3350 First two pics are simply a repurposed piece of a wire coat hanger ,flattened and notched to assist in "guiding" a very small spring on a carburetor into its proper position. Second is a piece of 1" aluminum cut out on a band saw and sanded, with bolts added to make it a carburetor stand for carb work, also used as a carbureretor spaceron engines.Third is just a few scrap pieces of metal, a piece of pipe and a scrapped bearing, tacked together for a small rotating surface for brazing or welding or painting small pieces on . Lastly is a simple hunk of a tree trunk I cut and added some scrap lumber to for a rudimentary stand for a small anvil.

Simple and functional. I really like the welding/painting positioner. Thanks for sharing, nortin!

Interesting spring guide you got there, as it reminded me of the days when I worked on carbs. I like your rotating workstand though, as I've been thinking of getting back into modelling, and this would work really well for me.
