    Gas tank for minibike

    Hi all!
I broke the old plastic fuel tank of my 70cc minibike with the pressure of the finger
I needed to build something good in aluminum or stainless. Aluminum was without doubts the best choice for a racing bike, but plates and flux are expensive and not easy to find in my area. I found from scrap a stainless extinguisher (or tank?) not so damaged, good looking, with good thickness, enough for stick weld.
I cut with grinder, I'm ready to weld with 308L sticks. I need to do with lathe the base for faucet, the plug, and the breather port.
I'm thinking about leaving the cap in original position, since the refueling is not a trouble due to low weight
