    G'day from down here.

Hi, my name is John. I am from Bribie Island and at the present time I am building a 2/5 scale model of a 1942 Malcolm Moore loco. Have a few home made bits of equipment, primitive but get the job done.

Hi John - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

The scale locomotive build sounds interesting. Post some pics if you have any.

Are you looking to build any homemade tools for this project?

    Hi John,

    Welcome!

Even at scale, that's still a good-sized locomotive. Very cool!

What sort of homemade bits have you built for it along the way?

    Ken

Wow, cool project! Just wondering how you'd run it? Is there a track or something that you would use? Welcome to the forums!

Thank you for the welcome. My home made tools are mostly bits and jigs that I have made as I go along. I am not a machinist and at 70 have just bought a mill so it will have to be a sharp learning curve.
The loco is 7.25 inch gauge, my club track is just a 5 minute drive from here and despite what I say on Facebook it will probably be my home track for some time.
