    Very simple indeed. Thanks!

I was thinking of printing a wrench for my tap handle (similar concept to a camera filter wrench), but I have a bunch of clamps on hand and it's a ready made solution.
The only changes I'd make is to add rubber strips (from an old bicycle inner tube) between the clamp and the nut.

I don't have a problem gripping mine enough to tighten the problem is I tried to chuck a 1/4-20 tap in 1 of my handles and broke the shell nut just hand tightening it So now I have to repair it
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

When our Dad's were boys, Tee handle tap wrenches had independent jaws that closed by a internally tapered nut. They gripped the square securely. Junior process engineers and skinflint accountants came up with the cross sawn body to save a dollar, and our mechanical civilization has never been the same.
And now the chinesium versions so roughly turned, all your grip is used up overcoming that friction, without closing the fingers much.
I predict, soon a few companies will bail that particular offshore supply, leaving behind nothing but "Made in..." stickers. Then we class action sue them into oblivion.
    Sincerely,
