Graver Handle
I'm new to engraving, but thought that the first thing was to make a handle

For my shame I turned this in a metal lathe, I know....

but the Hobbymat MD65 has been with me for around 36+ years and has been used for wood, metal, plastics etc and it just keeps going. Note piece of biscuit tin to protect the brass in the jaws.

no shame in using a metal lathe for wood turning... as long as you clean up well, no harm, no foul.
