65 year old dude that loves to work and learn about EVERYTHING. Looking forward to sharing and learning here. I regret not taking "Shop Class" in high school and think that it and "Home Ec" should be required today! Our country is losing it's way and we need to instill practical knowledge. Peace, Denny

While I agree with your notion of requiring classes in practical skills, I'm afraid that ship has sailed. High school is all about standardized test scores these days and teaching seems focused almost entirely on the tests and not on achieving real subject matter understanding/correlation. More's the pity.
