    Great looking rest. I know there is one like this on the site, but it is made from aluminum. I like the idea of steel instead of aluminum. I know the pics you posted are great, and I was wondering if you are going to post up any measurements for those of us who don't have a calibrated eyeball.

    I've made a few tool rests for grinders. One is kind of like this. Except I made that table out of Micarta. Then when I made a metal sliding table rest. Instead of a dado groove I used a guide strip type of arraignment on that one. That ended up working OK. I call that the Veritas style. I have also cloned the Tormek rest on another grinder.
