That one is a Chevy but there’s some info on this one made from a Ford which does not use a hitch. Maybe similar maybe different but to my eye they are pretty similar.

So, is the flat bed in front called a leader instead of a trailer?
The wheel placement in the front of the flatbed appears odd to me, it doesn't look like a standard tandem arrangement, as the front wheel appears inset.
As the truck is inoperable without the front flatbed, this marriage of the two should reduce registration fees at the DMV.
