Handle for my cracker box welder

I have an old Lincoln 225 cracker box that is sometimes handy to have around but has always been a pain to move around it used to have tiny little 4" wheels that were impossible to roll on anything other than a concrete floor and it stands less than 2 ft high so again hard to bend over and use the built in handle to move it. I finally got tired of this the other day and installed a pair of 10" x2" lawnmower wheels and welded a handle on it that I had left over from the days that I used to make 2 wheeled hand trucks now it is easy to move around and I have a place to coil the leads

When I get the time I will treat it and paint it but for now it is what it is

I had an oxy/acet cart that looked much like that and it worked great for me.

Back in the early 90's we must have made a 1000 of those frames for various things we made hand trucks out of them and shorter versions became stocking carts for grocery stores actually we made over 1000 stocking carts

I wish I could claim it but it's from another guy who built the best 72" belt sander that I've ever seen. I think that it's just about the greatest principle that a home builder can embrace because we're almost always having to make do instead of using the most appropriate things in our builds, and a whole range of inaccuracies can be compensated for into something workable if we have the ability to adjust things so that they work as intended.
