Harvesting bananas - GIF

I'd like to try that as I have a few bunches of dwarf cavendish approaching harvesting in my top orchard. Temperature & wind play a big part in growing bananas. These dont get the frosts and strong winds that serrate the leaves due to the mango trees etc whereas 100 metres away, my experimental plants (in my other orchard) haven't fruited in over 2 years despite better care that I give them. I grew up with banana plantations & appreciate the effort farmers put into their crops.









I doubt if I could find anyone game enough to assist while I was wielding a scoupel sharp tool like that despite its shape.LOL
