I probably shouldn't say this but you know what? She's cute, and sadly far too many Western women today don't even know how to make cinnamon toast if they couldn't buy it in the freezer section

After the tree is 2 or 3 years old you can cut it down to a stump at ground level and cover with dirt, by then it should have a sufficient root system to re grow sometimes coming back with more than one trunk. Some just cut off a few of the limbs, the bark is normally harvested at 2 times per year after heavy rains. My wife likes the smell of cinnimon and has given some thought about growing starting some plants in her plant room but it is mostly too dry here and she probably would water them like she does her dozens of cactus plants. They are about to take over the washroom

Trees' circulatory system is all in the outermost layers. Cutting this off would "girdle" it and cut off circulation. Everything above this point would die.

Girdling is a handy way to kill a tree and leave it to dry dead standing for later. It's not great when you do if accidentally with e.g. a dog chain or harvesting cambium.

We use lots of ground cinnamon; the best seems to originate in Viet Nam.
