    Turner is a good idea, but I see a lot of "greens" mixed in with the dry hay......how is that going to work?

    The moisture will average out when they get the hay to the final stage. Also depends how it will be stored. Small square bales can be higher moisture content (less than 20%) than large plastic wrapped round bales (12-15%). It the hay is stored loose, in a hay stack, or loft where is it not compressed together it can be even higher moisture content
