Video was not long enough to see if it turned back to black as it cooled or if this was a permanent reveal.

"Super Terrain, artists and graphic designers collective, reinterprets the science fiction novel by Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451.

In this dystopia, books – being the objects of resistance to the tyranny of happiness – are forbidden, tracked down and burned by the firemen. This special edition, appearing at first black as if carbonized, reveals its visionary content as soon as it is exposed to heat from a flame or hand. A sensitive link is drawn between the book as a material and the content of the novel. The paperback goes back to black as it cools down

194 pages on fireproof paper (M1)."

It was priced at $451, of course.

Thanks - I've read the book, though it has been quite a while back. Did not realize they made such a special edition. Very appropriate.

I'm like the odd one. Read the book and at the time when I read it had I known there was a carbonized edition I might have even spent the $451 for it
