That's absolutely amazing. Where does the energy come from to go faster than the stream of water? It reminds me of two things. This is not the same, but still an interesting anecdote. 20 years ago when I was doing thermodynamics in school, the professor showed us water traveling up a piece of paper towel through capillary action. Totally normal everyday thing. Then he asked us where the energy came from to lift the water. It's thermal energy. The water traveling up the paper towel is much colder than the liquid water at the base.

Not quite sure how this is working either, but I would suspect that this is in the northern hemisphere. I would imagine that the helix would have to have the opposite twist to work if it was in the southern hemisphere.

How about a length of fine monofilament fishing line tied to the top of the helix being pulled up while the water is cascading very cheap parlor trick
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

    We've seen this before...

and the consensus seems to be that it's a hoax. The fact that that unusual background could easily camouflage a piece of fishing monofilament did not escape my notice.

I haven't taken the time to look for it but a couple years or more ago there was a thread with a helix swimming upstream in a creek or river. someone found the link showing how it was done.
Me and over unity don't see eye to eye until I can duplicate it myself.
