Hi,

I'm a kiwi bloke living in the South Island of NZ with a do it yourself attitude and the belief that the best tool for the job is the one that has been made or modified to suit the job in question.
I came across the site while stumbling and am glad to see there are a lot of like minded people out there.
Have only had a quick look through the site so far but I am impressed with tools and items others have made.
Has already given me ideas for a few projects.

I am looking forward to viewing whats out there and hopefully contributing along the way.

I think you'll find that the community in general is fairly self-selecting for folks who share your philosophy. What particular sorts of DIY tasks are currently on your radar?

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
