Hi ,
My name is Jeff , based in the Uk and im into watch making and repair . As parts for watches are now getting very difficult to locate and purchase, i have begun to manufacture those that i need.
Many skills are required all of which i need to learn / improve upon .
Buying ready made machinery and tools is very expensive so i make all i can for myself . Recently found that i spend more time making tools to make tools than i do on watch repair. However i now have quite a few toys for the lathe etc .
I have a Cowells Me90 lathe and after refurbishment im very pleased with it.
Next purchase will be a Mini Mill ( when the treasurer agrees)
