Hello Group,
My name is Stan and I am a retired tinkerer. Is that a real word ? Any way, I have been in the home build industry for forty years, but a botched back surgery has left me disabled. Now I like to try and work in my shop when lack of pain permits.
I am truly amazed and inspired by the talent of so many. The tools and ideas I see in this group make me want to get in the shop and try and build things.
I am a newbie to metal working, but do have some welding skills.
I was a Drywall Contractor, and Home Builder all of my working years, so if anyone needs help in that, please feel free to contact me.

Welcome - glad to have you here!

I hope you'll be able to spend plenty of time in the shop; we're looking forward to seeing your work. What's on your workbench at the moment?

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
