Hello from Flatland

Hi,

I have seen a number of posts through the web linking me to HMT. This caused me to check out the site and join. I enjoy building my own tools. I grew up learning how to make things rather than go out and buy them. I love building tools where I can incorporate many desired features rather than settle for something that only has half of what I want.

Hope to learn and share a lot of good info here.

Hi Jon,

Currently finishing up an extension stand for my horizontal band saw. It needs to have the legs cut so that the top matches the top of the saw's table and vise base. Then it's onto building a brake. I like Kess' design and may go with that. I'm still researching.
