Hi

My name's knoba, from Sussex, in England. I like making stuff, of which, some examples are already listed on homemadetools (knoba from mig-welding.co.uk & knoba.wordpress.com).

Lots of great ideas on here! I appreciate the whole open-source concept and a neat place for engineers to share their ideas & designs.

I'm currently working on the wife ...to let me convert the house into a gigantic open-plan workshop, so she & the kids can live nice & comfortably, in the garage. Progress hasn't been amazingly strong, tbh. She totally scuppers and maliciously blocks any, and all, of my suggestions in this subject...

I'm familiar with the knoba at mig-welding.com.uk tool builds, but I don't believe I've seen your knoba.wordpress.com blog. Cool stuff; we'll get those builds added to the encyclopedia this week.

The rack is an easy one. You could always start there and then proceed to more mechanically complex devices… :cool:

Thanks for doing that Ken! Looks like a lot of extra work, for you, putting my things up here... Apologies for that (I've been quietly beavering away for some time)!

There's a lot homemade items on my blog... <ducking to avoid the imagined torrent of hurled obscenities from you>

All my stuff from mig-welding.co.uk is on my picture blog too (with some extra photos included), but my posts for mig-welding have fairly decent write-ups, I've got no ideas on how you want to resolve that.

No problem at all; looking at all the new tools is one my favorite tasks.

We'll go through your blog over the next week or so and get all of your items added. Once we're 100% caught up, we'll delete the mig-welding.co.uk duplicates; that way all of the traffic generated by your tools will directly benefit your own site.
