OK, you piqued my interest. What do you make that flies?

Have been building plastic models since before i even knew I was somebody who could build models.
But eight or nine years old I bought my first radio controlled kit. But that was after flying some control line stuff.
I'd mow lawns during the summer to buy a kit in the winter to build for the spring to crash by the summer so I could start all over again.
I started flying gliders real ones when I was 14 or 15 power shortly after experimental when I got older.
I flew some of the very first radio controlled helicopters if you can call it flying.
My heart belongs to sailplanes, but these days I mostly fly quadcopters or drones as they're mistakenly identified my neighbors in the press and unfortunately the FAA...
I still like fixed-wing so I am building a large 14 foot wingspan actual drone that I'd like to use for search and rescue operations as well as Amber Alerts.
I have interest in just about everything I am a maker who has to find a way to afford his hobbies and I have already seen several projects on this site that I'd like to use towards those ends...
I've been looking for something like this site Instructables just doesn't quite cut it.
But in answer to your initial question there isn't anything I haven't tried to fly that anybody has let me...
So what have you got?

Very interesting; we definitely have some pilots here. I'm a rookie private pilot myself, and another mod is a warbird instructor.

Post some pics of your models if you have any; I'm sure folks would like to check them out.

Welcome!

I can't say that I've flown everything that flies (I wish!), but I've definitely scratched most of my itches in aviation. One or two remain and I've got plans to address those gaps…

Let's definitely see some pics of your models and your current progress on the large-scale drone.

Hi cwleveck, definitely interested the stuff you've done. I built models too in my earlier years, but never got into RC planes as they were a bit expensive for me. Welcome to the forums!
