Hi... current interest is pocket-hole joinery

Just broke my cherry in pocket hole joinery last week and this week I am looking for info about Wood Tool Man's pocket hole home made tool. I saw it on YouTube and want to know how to make one...or something like it. I like that it accommodates multiple wood thicknesses.

I am a DIYer and have a shop in my basement...all of my tools are benchtop size. I make mostly smaller items because my shop is small and has a low ceiling. So I make plaques, wood art, boxes, etc. I used the Kreg joinery on a backyard project for my wife: waist-height planting bed (described in Instructables.com) and he used pocket holes...and that is how I lost that virginity.
