Great to find your site here! I am a Shipwright/boatbuilder by trade and I do gunsmithing work as a second job. I find the tools people make, the setups they use and the techniques they apply very interesting and applicable to myself.

I'm looking forward to being around, learning a lot and getting to know some of you.

Sounds as though you've got a couple of interesting jobs, both of which lend themselves well to task-specific, homemade tools. If you haven't already done so, have a look at our Gunsmithing tag page. Maybe you could add a few entries...?

When you're ready to share some of your homemade tools, we'd certainly love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be posted in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
