    I wonder what is the purpose of the extra 20' - 30' after the shear before they're stacked? They could drop straight onto a pile. Maybe accumulation for continuous run purposes?

    Another reason could be for cutting longer lengths. it looks like this set up could cut 20 to even 40 ft lengths.
