Even if that sign is all aluminum, which I doubt, that thing is pretty heavy. OUCH!

Pretty sure that's how they do them here, in the USA, as well. Well, except that the measurements are SAE. Our version of Imperial for automotive stuff. 1/8" ≈ 3mm
