    Hip flask to oil can

A small S/Steel hip flask I bought from a charity sale was made into a nice precision oiler for small parts and parting off operations, it has enough flex to deliver the right amount with a gentle squeeze. A small bore brass tube from a defunct CO2 pistol was soldered into the brass cap, (I always dismantle items before binning them to see what can be used). I have filled it with ATF fluid which I find suits for most uses.

This is so interesting, one of the discount stores (Ollies I think) had a bunch of flask for a very cheap price the other day. I sat there looking at them thinking about what I could use them for. 4 days later your post drops in my lap. Looks like a great idea, I may have to run down and see if there are any left.

Thanks for the post and the very interesting build.
