    -"Now who would've thought of that"... Thanks for sharing - just excellent application of Occam's Razor.
    If not needed- take it away - could apparently be applied to the shellac/ alcohol as well!

    How does the pure stain (compared to the mix) stick when heat builds up?
    -Which one is easiest to clean off?

    I like the idea of on the spot preparation, resistance to heat is logical detail [as when first passes of a tool bit to scribed lines], could not then it atomize and spray?
    That makes DIY layout fluid 100%.

    do like I do speed up the video so they talk faster then is some point if interest pops up slow it down

    Hey sorry johan, my phone isnt notifying of hmt posts for some reason.I just hit the brass block with a blowtorch & the plain stain held up well, cheers
