I was quite stunned when he drove it.
There are too many people living in cars like this here in my area...the cars are less dilapidated but still quite nearly as full and just as sad.
one time years ago I knew of a person that lived in an abandoned car parked out in a farm field .. the farmer offered him work and better housing also would feed him 3 squares on the farm but he refused.. I would imagine there are some that would rather live that life style
Was he really homeless or just appearing so? About 50 years ago I saw a fellow dressed in old clothing, pulling a small wagon, picking up stuff/junk/whatever in back lanes. He went to the end of the block, put the wagon in the trunk of a nice Lincoln that was parked there, got in the car and drove away. So one never knows.
