Determined young lady. I hope she sticks with working with her hands. To few women even try. Some of them are actually pretty skilled at it.

That's a pretty serviceable vise, though I find it hard to believe that anyone who does much fabrication is able to maintain their fingers and nails in the pristine condition that hers are in. My fingers look like hell and I always try to wear gloves.
If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.

I'd be a little worried if you cared about the looks of your fingernails that much

the thing that I found intriguing was how so much of the time she didn't wear gloves while many videos of guys building things will almost never remove their gloves and when they do their fingers look dainty
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Did you notice that when she wore gloves they looked new? All of my gloves look rough after the first hour of using them. I even had to throw a pair of welding gloves away because they got scorched and then shriveled up so much that my hands wouldn't fit (but that hasn't happened to their Lincoln replacements).
