Homemade metal turning lathe.

I have started building a yeomans type lathe. I've called it a DEL-YO 1000mm. It's based on designs by Pat Delaney and the first world war lathe inventor Yeoman. It's frame is cast concrete with the Accurate part made out of steel and carefully aligned. Very, very cool. I've never previously run across this sort of concrete lathe construction. Definitely keep us posted on your progress.
