There are only about 20 who still live in the area but as many as 30 more usually show up who used to live here. This one lady makes fajitas, Tamales, tacos and several other things. I make the Picco de Gyo and the stir-fry to go with the fajita meat. She and her husband who passed away 8 years ago started the reunion 40 years ago back when there was still a school and a post office, a gas station and a working cotton gin and she continues it. Others bring side dishes and desserts; we start serving at noon and continue until everyone until even the local dogs are too full to walk.
