Smile How to Make a Belt Sander Holder for Your Lathe - Tiny and Simple!

    Good morning everyone,

I built a simple support for polishing the cylindrical surfaces on the lathe, it is useful to avoid getting close to the piece with gloves (not in safety) but also to remove cents for the assembly of a bearing for example.( it also depends on the grit of the sandpaper, 80,240,400 etc)

The parts to pay attention to are the seats for the Delrin wheels (by screwing the pins the wheels get the right play to rotate and the pin is screwed up to the support of the counterbore and no more)

The interlocking millings are also important, to finally obtain a precise coupling between the vertical and horizontal parts!

    I hope you like it,

A big Ciao from Italy !!
    Alberto.
