How To Make a Lathe Cross Slide Leadscrew, I build a new Cross Slide lead screw/shaft for a Clausing Lathe. The leadscrew for this Clausing Lathe 6903 model is very worn. This is a common problem with older machines. This is showing cutting ACME Thread and complete shaft construction.
