How to punch at two crossing scribed lines

I mentioned this in another thread but I think that it's useful enough information for its own thread.

Tilt your automatic punch towards horizontal with the tip in one of the scribed lines. Using a light touch push the punch in the scribed line towards the crossing scribed line. You'll feel it when you get to the intersection, and without moving the punch stand it upright and make a dimple right at the intersection. It may work a little better if you follow the first line that you scribed so that you run into the ridge formed when the second was scribed.

If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.
