they put ls heads on small block ford too. as for the 0 to 60 in 3 secs I want faster that that. back to the ls stuff...oh somany are going to the hemi heads for the "ls" engines...witch is basicly a dodge hemi aftermarket they put either the ls hemi head on or the dodge hemi style head...but there was never a gm ls hemi head. so its; just another knock off....well the ls block is also a knock off of the hemi blocks. as tor the diesel...Im not real fond of them, they stink, there heavy, thise nasty inside...being a performance machinist, I did one for a freind...a 4-71. never again. it took a month of cleaning the jet clean machine to get all the crap out of it!!! and yet...I want a dodge truck with diesel to tow my camper. my twin turbo ford does a good job but the millage towing is ****. my brother has the dodge.I dont ,like the ride but its' made to haul. mines made to haul ass and it does that real good. we had a cat in our old tow rig for the race cars ( living full quarters in the truck) it had the auto shifted alison witch was nice. it has 525 hp I think. it was quite a truck.

as far as the inline 6... dodge has them, gm has them...I dont know about ford.
