Glad I'm not the only one wondering if it can turn in any practical way, his heals almost touch the pavement,
turning with out leaning?

I doubt it could enter a driveway or parking lot w/o high-centering. It'd be cool if it had height adjustable air-suspension, but it looks like it's hard-tail as well as a hard-fork... more an artistic expression than a anything practical.

Using a Lycoming engine will pretty much insure the bike will run for years. Those are about bullet proof. Not to sure about the wheel setups, but to each his own and great job.

Other than the lack of suspension, I wouldn't trust the joints for the steering. They look way too small to turn that kind of mass with the centrifugal forces involved, not to mention the lack of clearance to lean. I would guess the rubber to rubber contact for the rear drive might be a high wear item and prevent racing possibilities. Oh yeah, and don't scoot back the 3" or 4" (7 - 10cm) toward the back wheel or you could literally loose your a55!

Ha, ha wouldn't that be a mean trick on the spoke cashing dogs. I can see it now a dog runs out to bark and nip at the spokes only to lunge all the way through.

Do you think that is actually (and legally) on a public road? I thought it might be on a drag racing track at first. Could the background be faked? Not many bystanders stopping and staring, as I would!

As far as actually on a public road. YES. Legally though for the photo shoot and video I would imagine would have been some permitting and arrangements which had to be met. for traffic control. If you run the video at its slowest setting, you can see that almost all of the few bystanders were mesmerized as he drove by.
