Very nice endeavour. Everyone will find a small custom-made hydraulic system very practical. I miss (missed I?) a schematic; and a short calculation of hand force, max. pressure und throughput. I fear for the plunger tilting - I don't know the guiding properties (length) of the thing with the blue wiper.

I can see that would be useful, provided you have all of the accessories. I do see an error in the plumbing. The fitting string between two fixed points in a system needs to have a bit of adjustment to allow for tightening the various components. The top plate has been bent by the fittings. Using a bulkhead fitting in an elongated hole would provide acceptable adjustment in this situation.

The schematic is pretty straight forward.

Dear hemmjo, thank you for the explanation indeed. A dirty but effective trick to make a connection 'longer' is to put an additional gasket, copper ring or the like. Or file the bolt-through bores for the main pumping block to ovals. Put washers and no-one will notice.
