I finally got around to registering.

I've looked at the good-to-great, ideas on here for quite a while, so I thought I should register to see what I've been missing.
My first question is, how is the "Level Of Detail" number arrived at? I haven't figured that out. It seems like some of the more complicated projects sometimes have a lower number than some of the more simple ones. Or, have I just missed something obvious?

Good question! The 'Level of Detail' rating is assigned by the reviewer who creates the database entry, generally in accordance with these guidelines:

1. Photo only.
2. Photo plus brief description.
3. Photo plus brief description plus at least some measurements.
4. All of the above plus simple plans.
5. Detailed plans. CAD, blueprints, design drawings, etc.

Hope that makes a bit more sense now.
