Hello,
I am retired after working in the construction arena for 50 plus years. I have done many many different things and have lived and worked in 11 states and lived at over 70 addresses!
I moved again in July 2016 (hopefully for the LAST time) from Alexandria, VA to Minneapolis, MN. I hope I can stay put this time!
My career included a carpentry apprenticeship, residential and commercial construction, sub-division superintendent, business owner, Federal Construction Inspection and Project Management with both the U.S. Dept. of Reclamation, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, University Adjunct Professor, Community College Instructor, Technical Trades Administrator at two Community Colleges, Certified Weatherization Inspector, and many more trade related positions.
I hold an Associates Degree in Retail Business Management, a Bachelors Degree in Health Systems Management, and a Masters Degree in Health Administration. I blog and write about student loan solutions and about my woodworking interests.
My dad used to tell me this: "can't died in the poor house" (because he went around telling people, 'I can't')
