I could see that being a great improvement for loading onto a trailer but not for any real "traveling" in the boat. You could park your trailer in a lot near the boat launch and drive the boat to it instead of backing the trailer into the water to load up. Think a trailer like for a pontoon boat. Just drive it over the rails on the trailer then retract the tracks and lower the boat to the trailer.
