    Improved Fence for Cheap Bandsaw

Just trying out YouTube's #shorts feature, with a really quick video of some improvements I did on the very crappy fence that came with my cheap Skil bandsaw!

Can we call it a 'bandsaw hack'?

Good info, and of the perfect length for my ADD.

I wonder if you could have held the plastic onto the tilted fence first and then sawed it. The sawed surface would be parallel to the flank of the blade. Then glue the plastic to the fence.

The sawn surface would probably be really rough, Rick. Might not allow stock to slide against it, like his planed surface does.

I have a small Craftsman bandsaw and the fence looks like yours and is just as crappy. I will try your fix. Thank you.
Stupid is forever, ignorance can be fixed.
