    I too got a air powered replacement unit for mine,,I have to cut the press bed appart as it's welded wonkey( not square) I may also widen it a tad as it's not wide enough for squat.i may just make a kick out on each side in the center,I have a buddy with a very old usa made press thats like that, it's a real nice unit. I also want to add a bed lift so my old bones dont have to lift it. and then there is the crap dowels that the bed sits on that bend....those gotta go. I use it very little but when I do...it's a pain in the butt as it is. I was wondering about doweling the plates but since they are cast...I didnt want to weeken them any.they too are not square or flat.. you almost get what you pay for with this china stuff. Ive not yet used the air powered jack since I got it and installed it last month.( it was on sail)
