These materials handling devices have saved so many workplace injuries it would be almost impossible to calculate.
But they don't have to be one of these sophisticated devices that hold things by vacuum or magnetics they can be a simple hook and grab set up
This thing is basically little more than an articulating arm on a jib crane which happens to be a parallelogram using a pneumatic cylinder to raise it and a swiveling device with a flat vacuum plate.
But I will stick to my trolley mounted chain hoists hanging from H beam jib cranes that way I am not dependent on a loss of vacuum or air pressure to do my heavy lifting for me. If I have to leave something hanging on the hook for hours days or weeks is will still be right where I left it when I return, even if there has been an interruption of power.
Fancy handles with buttons and pretty paint is not what does the work.
