Somebody in marketing missed the opportunity to place third-party adverts all over that thing as a revenue source. Would probably end up paying for itself.

reminds me of when a certain home insurance company sponsored the local SES (State Emergency Service) - the insurance company made a big splash in the news about how they were sponsoring the volunteer brigades and issued hundreds of tarpaulins emblazened with the insurance company name/logo. Even insisted the SES groups offloaded their old "unbranded tarps" as part of the sponsorship.
Then they withdrew the sponsorship, and every natural disaster the new helicopters would fly over the town/s and see hundreds of tarps spread across damaged roofs - all advertising the insurance company who sponsored SES for one whole year, but tarps last well over 20 years if looked after, or too expensive to replace.
The brigade I was in used to put the tarps on upside down as a form of protest against the company, but most brigades didn't bother - they just "got the job done" and moved to the next house.
A few brigades actually retained their old tarps as well (said we disposed of them, but actually just stored them at the local captain's house) so those came back into use when big disasters happened as well.
